It is the record of relationships between me and different Siris. I found myself obsessed with recording voice messages instead of talking to real people. It makes me more at ease when talking to a machine, and I can express myself in an even more free way.

What am I trying to escape from? What makes people start to escape from real interaction with human beings but drown into the cyber world?

This performance is aiming to provoking a series of questions about love, desire and solitude through inspirations by developing different relationships with Siri.

The present work starts from establishing the presence of the body, while learning the structure of the natural body through setting up knowledge of the body itself. In addition, the knowledge of the structure of exercise is used to represent what we know of our own first bodies in the moment. Afterwards, a 360º full body-length projection enters the picture to create a non-natural second body, which creates an experience of movement distinct from the movements of the first body. Do we, during the conversion between these two, produce new knowledge to define our bodies with the change in our viewing perspective? Furthermore, How does the second body replace the definition and existence of the first body in the process?

A duet of Human and Robot,HUANG Yi & KUKA is the fulfillment of a childhood dream for rising young choreographer HUANG Yi, who always longed for a companion like the robot cat Doraemon. Instead, he found himself a robot to dance with. He discovered that because of the accuracy and precise of its movements, the robot could closely follow his commands, and when he danced, he would imagine his body creating sounds or data that would interact, or even change his surroundings.
